for the Performing Arts. In addition to receiving numerous Elly nominations, representing excellence in theatrical performance
from the Sacramento Area Regional Theatre Alliance (SARTA), we are also enjoying our second year of association with the Fair
Oaks Theatre Festival. We believe in providing quality theatrical experiences for young performers, and providing family friendly

Jenny Krack, Producer and Artistic Director
Jenny has directed and produced over
50 shows for children and adults. Shows such as, The Sound of Music, (Elly nominated), Aladdin,
Jr., Les Miserables, School Edition (Elly nominated), Fiddler on the Roof, The Music Man and
A Christmas Carol to name just a few. Having studied theater arts and directing at a variety of venues including
San Jose State University, B Street Theater, Sacramento Studio Theater and Berkeley Repertory Theater, Jenny continues to
learn and share her creative arts with her students. In addition to her studies in the arts Jenny is a pediatric occupational
therapist and incorporates a developmental approach in her directing style with children of all abilities.
Karen Van Tassel, Artistic Director, Summer Camp
Karen started her journey in theatre by touring with the Broadway production of Annie. She
came back to Sacramento where she received a degree in English and Musical Theatre. She has appeared in many
shows throughout the Sacramento Area and currently sings with the Sacramento Woman's Chorus. She has worked with the Children's
programs at local theatres and has received an Elly award for directing. She currently works at Bella Vista High School
where she coaches cheer. She hopes to pass her love of theatre to young children.
Tracy Martin Shearer, Musical Director
first vocal directed for Stage Right years ago when the production team staged Beauty and the Beast at her daughters'
elementary school. She has been hooked ever since! Most recently she vocal directed
The King and I, and received an Elly nomination for her work on Stage Right's Les Miserables.
Tracy is on the Theatre Arts faculty at American River College, and also teaches voice and acting at the Hawkins School
of Performing Arts. In addition, she directs and vocal directs productions for both ARC and the Fair Oaks Theatre Festival.
Tracy holds a Bachelor of Music degree from University of the Pacific and a Master's in Theatre from CSUS. When
she's not teaching, she's thoroughly enjoying her two school-age daughters, both of whom delight and amaze her every day!
Kate Murphy, Musical Director
Kate first began working with Stage Right
two years ago as a vocal coach for their School Edition production of Les Miserables. The following season, she was
asked to be the music director for Aladdin, KIDS. Besides working with young performers, Kate also enjoys performing
and has been in many shows, scenes productions, and concerts: Eva Peron, (Evita), Rapunzel (Into the Woods),
Kate (The Pirates of Penzance), Vittoria (The Gondoliers), Third Spirit (Die Zauberflöte), Fleta
(Iolanthe), and Ida (Die Fledermaus). Kate received her Bachelor’s in Music from Sacramento State
in 2011, with a concentration in classical voice. She was the assistant director for the Crocker Riverside Singing Cubs and
also directed the PS7 Choir at Sac High. Last Christmas, Kate performed as the Ghost of Christmas Past with Stage Right Productions.
When not performing, she maintains an active schedule teaching voice and piano at Natomas School of Music.
Tony Nguyen, Choreographer
Tony obtained a BA in Dance at CSU, Sacramento. He has furthered his artistic and performance voice locally
in the Sacramento Community and in the Bay Area performing with: Project Bandaloop, Paufve Dance, Mid to West Dance, Joe Goode
Performance Group, Nolan T'Sani, Lisa, Ross, Red Bucket Dance Theatre, DIG, Lori Bryhni, Felipe Barrueto, Shakiri, and many
of her movers and shakers. He recently finished touring with Project Bandaloop to NCSU, Taiwan, and Shanghai for the fall
tour season hanging from ropes and dancing vertically. He is enjoying the adventure with TwoPoint4 as they work more choreographers
locally and abroad. He loves his wife, his two cats, teaching dance, cooking pizza, eating pizza, pizza, and holding a camera

Sandra Hill, Choreographer
Sandra has been involved with the
Sacramento Theatre and Dance community for over 15 years. She was recently a part of Capital Stage, and their revised version
of A Doll’s House. You may have also seen her at The Fair Oaks Theatre Festival in productions such as: Seussical
the Musical, Trailer Park, Willy Wonka, Minnie’s Boys, and Best of Broadway.
She has worked with American River College as a specialty choreographer, actor and assistant Director.
